Abba Sisoes asked a brother in the desert:
    - "How are you doing?"
    – “I’m wasting my time.”
    – “I am full of gratitude, even if I waste my time.”

In the 4th century AD, a number of women and men in Egypt gave up their previous lives and went into the desert.

They embark on an inner search for the Absolute, for God.

They live in small, isolated dwellings, their (Kellia).

But life in the desert is anything but easy!

What you need to survive must be wrested from the barren soil.

It is important to overcome external dangers and - as the first Christian hermits - to also face one's own demons.

Kellia is a cooperative game developed and illustrated by the brothers of the Taizé community.

Inspired by the lives of the desert fathers and mothers, it combines spiritual life, mutual aid and ecology.

- Age: 12+
